A Call For Prayer
First, I want to thank all of my friends that have prayed for me during my sickness. Please continue to pray. I also wanted to share with you about a site that is asking for Christians to pray for our country. We are going to have a very important election in two weeks and as the Bible tells us to pray for those in authority over us, I believe the Lord wants us to pray about the election of our leaders also.
I will be putting the symbol on my sidebar and you can click it to go to the site explaining the symbol.
No pressure, I just want to share with you that I believe we should be in prayer!

oops, my post didn't go through but what I said was, hope you are feeling better, and the prayers for our country is a wonderfully uniting thing to do, we certainly need them!

It is important to pray for our own countries and other people's as we are all interdependent on each other.
Hope the election goes the way everybody wants it to!

Hi Trish!

Prayer is always helpful! Our country certainly need guidance during these stressful times.

I live near the coastline of Brooklyn, so there is plenty of parkland and natural preserved shoreline there. Inner Brooklyn is more urban. When we were kids we could go fishing and clamming, etc. It was a little like living in the country, but it's more developed now. Thank goodness for the parks!

Have a good weekend and feel better!

Hi Miss Nana Trish,

I tried to leave a comment earlier this morning and blogger would have no part of it-hehe. Thought I would try again.

I am praying for you my friend. Hang in there. There is light at the end of the tunnel.

hugs,
Barb

Hi Nana,

I tried leaving a note earlier and blogger went further south than I am and wanted no part of it. [giggle] If this is a double post, I apologize.

We too are praying about our country. I guess we'll just have to suffer through an evil President. Well, other countries have survived much worse, I'm sure we'll all be fine.

I'm so happy you are on the mend. Hope you are up and feeling 100% very soon. Keep eating as much 'comfort food' as you can. It does help. Y'all are in our prayers. Keep us posted about how you're feeling.

God bless ya! ♥ ∞
