Don't you just love October? This picture is so peaceful looking to me and I just love the changing of the seasons. I have lately been making more of an effort to be thankful for things and trying not to complain about challenges and problems. As the weather cools down and it becomes more fall-like I look forward to so many things I enjoy. I love a fire in the fireplace. Hot coffee or hot tea. A big fluffy quilt and a great book. Fall festivals. Boiled peanuts. One of my cats or dogs snuggling up next to me. We're into the fourth quarter of 2008 and I thank the Lord for His blessings.

I love October too. I love autumn. So, I'm also happy for today!
I enjoyed stopping by your blog! I love the fall too but here in AZ we don't have much of one.
Have a wonderful week!
Well congratulations on your great door prize. It looks like the party was a great success.
I am finally getting into fall a little. It actually got a little chilly here this weekend.
Thanks for dropping by my blog! I bet your daughter and I had the same big wheel, since we're the same age:) I still have scars on my knees from a big wheel wreck!
Hi Nana Trish!
Congrats on your 100th post!! That's a great accomplishment!! :) Your door prize was fabulous and so pretty! I know you were tickled pink when you won. I didn't make it over to Willow's Ball, but I hear it was a splendid affair. She mentioned something about Halloween, so I'll work towards that! I love this time of year for the cooler days and pumpkins everywhere.
Lots of Hugs, Bebe :)
Hi Trish! Thanks for the post and reminding us to be thankful!
Next time you pass by Louisville stop in and say hidy!
Prayers and blessings my friend!
Congratulations on your 100th post! Time goes by fast when your're having a great time posting, doesn't it?
I love your nice Fall picture. Fall is such a great time of year.
Blessings.
Good reminder to be thankful! I'm just wondering...what are boiled peanuts?
I love autumn too! I just wish I still could garden. [sigh] Alas, my body has betrayed me and I can no longer stoop over, nor lift a rake. Oh well. I'll keep taking pics and enjoy anyway. [smile] I enjoyed your post! God bless! ♥ ∞
A beautiful post, so beautifully expressed. You have spoken for untold thousands in your words here today. A very apt pic, too. Blessings to you (and Avery too!)~!~
That's a gorgeous photo!
Good for you, counting your many blessings! I used to love boiled peanuts, the kind in a can, when I was young. A friend from Georgia got me hooked on them. Fall isn't very "fall-like" here in FL, but there's still plenty to recommend it.
