I'm back. I feel somewhat better, but not great. This is a nasty bug and it really knocked me down. I'm not having the chills and hurting like I was. Thank you guys so much for all the prayers and sweet comments. It was sweet of you guys to drop over. If you'd been here in real life you would have seen a mess. Books and tissues all over the bed. A big ol' Nana with hair going everywhere, no makeup and eyes watering all over the place. I am better today and I ate some fruit and yogurt and I believe I'm going to live. Trust me, Friday it was questionable. I won't be running in any marathons today, but thank the Lord I'm so much better!!!

So glad you are feeling better. I can relate, with what you said, tissues all over the bed, etc...I've been there. Not lately but it's one of those things we all can relate to.
I love that photo.
Good to hear that you are on the mend! Continue taking care of yourself and enjoy some rest now that you don't feel so bad.
I'm glad you're feeling better but don't over do. Again, I love your picture you've posted. Are they yours or are they just pictures?
Glad you are feeling better. Looka fter yourself a little bit longer & take it easy!
"makeup and eyes watering all over the place"....it's great being a man!! Glad your feeling better.
I'm glad to hear you are feeling better! When you described your "mess" I thought of Meg Ryan sick in bed in You've got mail. Hope you at least had some fresh daisys like she did.
it sounds like a good day for a cup of tea and a movie in your pajamas! take care and glad you're feeling better.
Anita, the pictures of the cats are from Flickr. The picture of the fountain I took. I mean to give the credit to Flickr when I show their pictures, but I just forget. Sorry.
Glad you are starting to feel better! That sounded like a nasty bug...I hate the aches and chills the most!
Glad to hear you are on the mend! If you are running short of reading material...I have lots of good books over here just waiting to be read, that I'd be glad to share.
Oh! So sorry to hear you are sick Trish! My husband and daughter both had that nasty cold -- in fact the doctor thought my daughter had "walking pneumonia" but thank goodness it was only a bad case of bronchitis.
Take good care of yourself!
I did your photo tage today -- it brought me down memory lane --thanks for tagging me! It was fun!
Glad you are getting well!! Get healthy fast!! After all we are family!!
Happy to hear you are feeling better. We have been passing that bug around here as well. We blamed our pastor for being a hugger. Half the congregation was sick this past Sunday...including me! God bless! :-D
Oh Trish sooo gald to hear you are bit better and living is on your agenda... wink!!!
Thanks for your visit, yay, CA was a possibility for this winter...we did try to stay and find work in WA near my sis "In a Garden", but it just didn't work out for us this year, maybe next after we work on the house for the summer.
Well, in fact we are back in the same rv park as before...soooo I am only 5 min. away from Dustye. We've been together non-stop since we've arrived in CA. Her and I are really close.
I need to get her going on her blogging. She's just not as into in as us I guess. I'll encourage her this week to post again.
We hang out every Thursday night at her place and watch our best tv shows and visit and knit and eat etc. etc. etc. I have a feeling you would fit right in with us..
Get better ya hear!!! Blessings, Chris
So glad you're feeling better! Take it easy getting back into the swing of things!
And about those fish stick po'boys: it's a recipe I got from Rachel Ray. It's so easy! You bake fish sticks and put them on toasted hoagie-style buns with a little slaw or lettuce/tomato and a sauce made of mayo, tabasco and pickle relish. So yummy!
Thank you for stopping by. Your hand painted postcards were fantastic!
Blessings,
Vince
I'm glad you are starting to feel better! We all had a pretty nasty bug this week too. It must be "that time of year". Yuck! Hope you continue to feel better and better! =)
Oh Nana, we all get (and look) like that when a nasty bug hits us. You'll find only understanding from your blog friends. These things take time, but they pass...eventually. I hope you had the vicks vapo rub handy. That stuff is a miracle worker.
Glad your feeling better. I heard from some other friends that it was a real Killer Bug. Take Care,Cheryl
Hope you are still on the road to mendsville.;-)
Palin/McCain are both going to be in Cincinnati tomorrow...I'm going to try and drive up...but will be praying if I can't make it.
Blessings and prayers!!
