Blue Beauty

This was my view from 22 floors up for nearly a week earlier this month. It was breathtaking. I loved watching the waves roll in. I was blessed to be able to stay here and enjoy the beauty. So many times I don't stop and thank the Lord for all He's given me. I have had such great opportunities and I need to thank Him everyday for all He's brought me through and shown me. I am thankful I have saved this image and all the blue chairs and cabanas look like a wonderful pattern to me. God is so good and He gives us so much!

Hi! I hopped over from Pat's.
What a beautiful post. That's my favorite kind of place to be, warm sun, warm water, nice chairs, and feeling God's peace. I like your bloggers title. That's awesome! I guess that's what being home again has meant for me.

What an amazing view! I, too, sometimes forget to acknowledge all the blessings I have. I need to be a more grateful person. Thanks for the reminder!

I am so glad you got your camera-computer connection made. You are turning out to be quite a talented photographer. I wish that room had been mine....what a view, its sensational.....

Yes, life is so distracting, sometimes we forget to thank the Creator of all this beauty...

Time away from the tasks and cares of daily life is a blessing. I am glad you feel refreshed. I will be meeting my son and his family later this summer for some fun on the beach. I am so looking forward to spending time with them.

What a marvelous view. They would have to throw me out of the hotel, I would want to stay forever.

You are right, God has blessed us in so many ways. Big and small. We do need to be thankful and grateful for everything we have been shown.

Have a marvelous day,
Barb

Oh wow! What a pretty view!

I know exactly what you mean Nanatrish -- we have many blessings in our lives and it is another blessing to reflect on them and be thankful.

Totally different than my last week! mama and I and another couple spent the week at a remote cabin (not too remote!) in upper Michigan - God has blessed us with a variety of surroundings! I also love the beach! Thnks for stopping by my blog and leaving a comment - I value all comments - I learn from them.

Haaay Girrrll,

Looking good, looking good! I've been on work-cation since we got home from the trip.

I'm glad to see/hear that you are better.

I love your love story. I can almost feel the excitement one feels at that time of their life.

Real good writing when it is infused with so much life that the memory of one's own love-sick feeling melts down over their head and flows downward like warm wax. I remember how alive I felt and vibrant everything is.

Is it a mirage, dream or a hallucination? Where does it go?.....
