Maybe it's just me, but.........

Dear Paula,
The word is on the street that you weren't happy with the $2 million a year they offered you. No, so they offered you $10 million. No, that was such an insult. You demanded $20 million. Well, Paula, I just don't get it. It must be very difficult living on $2m and then knowing you would only be getting $10m. Wow, it's a disgrace. How do they expect you to live on that little tiny amount of money? You work hard!!!! Getting all dressed up and having to worry about your hair and makeup. OMG. You are very sweet to the contestants, but my goodness, honey...10 million dollars. They called me and offered me the two mil and the producers told me they are looking for a real person to judge. I, of course, turned them down. I wouldn't have time to do that gig and all the exciting things I'm already doing. Paula, bless your heart. If you're ever in Atlanta call me and we can go to lunch. It just won't be the same show without you. Your friend, Trish
Maybe it's just me, but what is this world coming to?

Their salaries are mind-boggling! It does seem to be a bit ridiculous! "Ridiculous" is my word for the day...I seem to be saying it a lot! LOL!

LOL!!! I just heard about this on FOX NEWS. Can you believe it, these celebs, they really think they are so deprived, only 10M a year, whatever!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They all live in such a different world than the rest of us do...hard to comprehend!

Well, the show must go on, with or without dear Paula. I'll still be watching the next season, about you?

It's all over my head! I watched a little of her story they had on E yesterday...pretty self absorbed.

If I do watch Idol, I usually change the channel during the judging...I hate that part!

I'm waiting for Biggest Losers to come on in Sept...love that show, but for some reason I can't figure out, I need to eat some form of Cheerio's during it!

Right on girlfriend. Our life is just a little different wouldn't you say? I remember telling my daughter Kim, if I ever had plastic surgery I really wouldn't want a face lift, I would just like to have my eyes done. She looked at me and said "Mom your such a fibber if you had the money you would to have a face lift!" She had me! I just knew I would never have the money! We live in a very different world girlfriend. Miss you girl...

Hi NanaTrish,

I can't even imagine that kind of money. I think you hit the nail on the head. I'm sure something will turn up at the right price for her-hehe.

Thank you for your sweet comment on J&D. Things have been CRAZY around here. Not blog visiting. The ladies should be on their way tomorrow. Grandma still can't believe it. But then I am still in denial about Jeff and the Army.

Hugs,
Barb

I'd judge for the paltry $2 m.

Like most things there is probably stuff going on behind the scene we don't know about. As the saying goes.... Can't believe everything you read. I liked Paula too! Quirky gal.
