Keep on Smiling

This is my new theme. Keep on smiling, Patti. This is what I tell myself. I have noticed that I have reached the age that the muscles around my mouth have started to sag. That means that when I am not smiling I look like I'm frowning. I don't mean to. It just happens. Maybe this is some kind of thing that will encourage me to smile more.

I don't like people thinking I'm grumpy. I don't consider myself grumpy. I am a happy person most of the time and I do have the joy of the Lord. I will be hitting a new decade this birthday and maybe this is one of those fun tricks that happen to you. This fellow looks happy and carefree. Whoopee!!!

I don't know how you look because I've never seen you! You write happy so I picture you happy!

I thought mom was old at 45...I think she did too. I'm 56 and feel like I'm just getting started!! ;-)

Another good reminder. Note to self, keep the outer corners of my mouth turned up!

I am sure that your face has comfortable lines through your positive out look. I have given up worrying about it.

The corners of my face are drooping too that's why I smile so much. Plus ... people don't know WHAT you're thinking when there's a smile ... tee hee ♥ ∞

My mom can relate because she says that people continue to ask her what's wrong because the look on her face is such... but really everything is fine. ha ha Oh the joy of aging!

Thank you for your comments about my leaky roof. The sun is shining today and the crew is expected out to do the repairs. Yea! No more drip, drip!

Cute new banner pic too by the way!

Nana, I know there is a smile in your heart, no matter what expression on your face. I notice that when relaxed, I just looking kinda tired!

Love this new banner of Avery, she has a lovely profile and good to see the kiddies reading.

I know exactly what you mean about the frown! I used to have people ask me "what's that matter?" I realized gravity had set in so I make a point of smiling a lot more, or at least looking like I'm on the verge of a smile. Your picture of Avery made me smile!

The other day the 4 yr old I nanny for randomly said, "Grown ups have no laughing" and I thought, huh, he's right. Grown ups do forget to do simple things like laugh and be happy!

Hey Trish...thanks for your visit and I'll tell Dustye you said hi.

I've been catching up on your blog this evening...thanks for your recent visits.

Wow, you have a very interesting job my friend, I shared what you said with Dustye, we had no idea. You are a very important person with a very important job, I bet it is so fulfilling. I can see where it would be hard not to get emotionally attached. Bless your heart.

Well, I sure like your new header of your granddaughter, she's a cutie...

Hey I was tagged with the letter "R" too from Lavinia. Let's compare our answers later...
