Monday Ramblings from Georgia

I wanted to give my friends an update. I have an appointment with the neurologist next Monday. I had a migraine that lasted 3 days last week and it really was on my last nerve, as we say here in the south. The numbness in my hands is still present and I am ready to feel better. I went forward yesterday morning at church to be prayed for and I do believe in healing. I appreciate those of you that are praying for me.

Saturday we went to a drive-in about 30 minutes from our home in South Carolina. We saw Monsters vs Aliens. It was cute and Avery certainly enjoyed it. She's having standardized tests this week and has been looking forward to it.

I have connected with my very best friend as I was growing up. I have a picture of us in Sunday School when we were two years old. So we really go back a long way. I haven't seen her in over 35 years and I hope to visit her this summer. That is something to look forward to. We used to talk for hours and hours sitting on our front steps talking about what our lives would be like when we grew up. I can't wait to see her in person and talk about how fast it all went and what really happened.

I hope everyone had a great weekend. Mine was very good. Not having that terrible headache is such a huge blessing!!!!

Wow-Oh my goodness...a migraine for 3 days? How did you endure that? I can't imagine. Glad it has worn off finally!

Heard that movie is really cute!

Still praying, that's for sure! I've had migraines that lasted for a few hours and that was bad enough. I know how miserable you must have felt.

Take good care,

Kat

As a migraine sufferer myself I would not be at all happy with a three day one. Glad you are feeling better.

Monsters VS Aliens looks like a really cute movie. I wouldn't mind watching it either. I'm a big kid.

Poor thing with the 3 day headache! I can't image that much pain for so long. I pray you never have that again ... ever!

You might have carpal tunnel syndrome with the numb hands. I had both surgeries at the same time the muslims declared war on us (9-11-2001). I haven't hurt since. We will contine to pray that God will give the doctors the wisdom to pin point the source of your pain so that it can be fixed. Thanks for keeping us up-to-date. :o)

I am glad you got some prayer from your church folks. And I am glad you are feeling better. That sounded pretty awful.

You have a good week dear friend. And give Avey a little squeeze for me:) She sure is a blessing to her Nana.

Hope all goes well with your appointment. Three day migraines are not nice as I know from the days when I used to have them. Not any more and not for many years.
Mine were the result of traking HRT.
