Aroma Therapy

I took a lovely little trip to Whole Foods Market after work. It's a huge grocery with lots of natural foods and fruit, vegetables, fresh meats, etc. When I first walk in it always reminds me of my time living in Germany. The stores smelled so much like Whole Foods. Some of my friends call it 'Whole Paycheck', but you have to be selective and sometimes you really do get what you pay for. Well, my most favorite thing in the store is the section with the candles, creams, and delicious smelling things. I needed some aroma therapy and my inexpensive little trek took me to a happy place.

Where do you go when you need some relaxing, yummy smelling therapy?

Well, when they're blooming, I sit in the arbor swing out front that hubby built and smell the confederate jasmine. Yum!

I've never been to one of these, but I've heard really great things about them!

I've heard that "whole paycheck" term too Trush..lol!

There is a health food store near me that sells essential oils and I like to sample them. My all time favorite is Bergamot, followed by Lavender.

My spot used to be a lovely florist and gift shop called Iris and Ivey. The entire store is filled with aromas and scents and when you walk out of the store they trail after you for a while.

We have a little boutique in town that I like to visit just because it smells so yummy! And then, of course...there's Bath & Bodyworks if I happen to be in the USA.

Hey Trish, thanks for your visit today and your sweet, sweet compliment, thank you so much! You made my day girlfriend.

We have a "whole foods" in Fresno, and Dustye and I will get the wild hair to drive up there just for that. It's a bit pricey, but they have such good and different selections.

Mmmmmmmh! I can smell it from here in my imagination.
I love these places. And don't different smells take you back in time? Very powerful memories sometimes associated with smell.

That is how Publix is for me. I so love walking in there and taking in the "smells." Blessings

I like the way Fresh Markets smell...or Starbucks.

Guess I've never checked out potions at Wholefoods...will put it on my to do list.

Trish, I will always be in Louisville...it took me 28 years to get back home and I'm here for good! Heels dug in!;-)

Aromatherapy all the way!! I made a special trip to Pier 1 the other day to get my room sprays. Fig, Patchouli, Asian Spice, Bamboo. I bought all four!

And lotions, don't get me started, ha!

When they are in bloom, I go to my lilac bush and just shut my eyes and stand there....

Hi Nana Trish,

I love whole Foods but it is too easy to get carried away there. We do Trader Joe's here. I still get carried away......

How is your health? God Bless you girl. It is an upside down world. I'm still praying for you and He is still listening.

O'k, when I need to pamper, I make the body care products I used to sell. I still adore them. That pesky FDA-hehe.

Have a wonderful weekend.

love ya,
Barb
