HAPPY BIRTHDAY AVERY!!!!

Nine years ago tonight an absolutely wonderful angel came into my life. Avery was the sweetest little baby and here we are nine years later and she's a sweet young lady. She makes me laugh and surprises me on a regular basis with her deep questions.

I'm so proud of her and her mommy for bringing up such a well behaved girl. We'll have her party Friday night and I can't wait to give her a big Nana hug!!!

Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday to You! Happy Birthday dear Averyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! Happy Birthday to youuuuuuuuuuu!

Have a grand time with your sweet girl and make a memory! Indoors of course, don't want you suffering from those allergies!

To answer your question about the stew... the liquid was a dry packet of Beef Stew seasonings from McCormick brand I think it was. The other one I buy is Schillings, so it was one of those. When we got home from fishing I would suck out the excess water out every couple of hours as the veggies would create their own juice. And when using a crock pot, less liquid is better, I try to keep it no more than an inch high.

With the juice I've sucked out, I use a turkey baster to do that, I save it up throughout the day and just before I serve it up, I'll make a gravy with it on the stove and then pour it back into the stew and it makes it all delicious and thicker! Yummy! Thanks for asking.

Hi Nana Trish,

Happy, happy birthday to Miss Avery.
Jayde will soon be 9- The years go by so fast.
Thank you for your prayers and thoughts also. This has been a long 6 weeks and no discharge date insight. I know that God is watching over him and when the time is right, it will happen. Until then, one day at a time.

Stay well my friend.

hugs,
Barb

All those American girl dolls lined up in a row with Avery as a centerpiece!

Do they have American girl luncheons for moms, daughters and dolls in your area like they do in Chicago?
