My Dear LORD,

At this special time of year I want to thank you for coming to earth. You didn't have to, but you did. You came in humble surroundings. You didn't have to, but you did. As the world has turned so upside-down and life seems like a constant challenge, you are there for me. As a baby you watched over me and placed me with a loving adopted family. You didn't have to, but you did. Thank you for my loving family and friends. Thank you for dying on the cross for me, you didn't have to, but you did. Someday you will come back for me, you don't have to, but you will. You have promised. I thank you for who you are and your precious love. You are the Greatest Gift of All. Love, Patricia

Wow, that was profound! It takes my breath away when I think of all the wonderful things we should thank Christ our Saviour for. HE does watch over us. HE does love us, and he doesn't have to. Thank you for the reminder.

God bless.
