What if Money was No Problem?

I sometimes wonder how different life would be if money were no object. How it would feel to have something break and you said, "Oh my, we must go shopping darling and get a new ........"?
You know, you could just grab the checkbook and ride off to any store you chose and get the just right ........

One of the things I would do is set up a schedule and travel around the world to visit my blog buddies. I'd go down to Florida, up to Canada, over to England, and all around the US. We could go out to eat and you could show me your favorite places in your city. We would share about all the fun we were having and I'd say, "Just tell your job you are on an adventure." Then we could go all around and visit all our blogland friends. Doesn't that sound fun?

That's one of the things I would do if money was absolutely no problem. What about you?

Oh, I can't even think about it, it seems such a remote thing to think about.
I would help my children.
I would do things for them.
I would travel over to see my daughter & not have to worry about work. I would go first class on the train!

My husband and I occasionally play that game and list what we would buy if money weren't a problem. It seems we aren't really that extravegant....new kitchen, new van, replace the carpet....things that need to be done but just can't right now. But I do like your idea, and if you win the lottery and begin your travels, I want you to put Ohio on your list and come for a visit. :)

Oh My, I can't even imagine. I know travel would be way up on the list.
I like the idea of meeting buddies from blogging.

I would give a big chunk to my kids. JDRF would get a huge donation. The church as well. I don't think I would change my lifestyle but it would be nice to have that security blanket.

What a fun post. You have me thinking now.

many hugs,
Barb

I'd travel with reckless abandon! But I wouldn't trade my lifestyle for any other...and know money can't buy the things that are truly important in life.

Oh I'm with you...travel would be 1st on the list. A couple that lives 25 miles from here stopped into a little git n go to pick up some drinks for their anniversary weekend in Monterey Bay, California. They thought they would pick up a ticket for the heck of it, after all it was only 47 millions on the Lottery. When they got home, they found that they had won the lottery and since they bought a cash ticket, they walked away with 26 million dollars. I would gladly share that amount with the government! I gotta go I think I need to pick up some tickets!

Hi Trish!
I would invite myself to go with you if money were no object!! What a grand old time we'd have traveling and visiting our blog buddies! But it's sure nice to dream isn't it?

I would find a log cabin, near a river or stream, not far from the coast but up in the mountains and .....would love to sell my house and give the equity to all my kids to help them all out, if I didn't need the money.

I would travel some, but not all that much really.

If money were no object I already know the places and things I would like to see: the Aurora Borealis, the midnight sun on the summer solstice in Scandinavia, The Guggenheim Museum in Bilbao, Spain, The Great Wall in China and of course stop to meet all of my blog buddies along the way. If money were no object I would finish college. I would go to more plays and concerts. I would give lots away. I would pay for art lessons for my grandchildren.

Isn't the what if game fun?
